About FCC
Forward Counseling & Consulting (FCC) is a unique mental health private practice centering the diversity, creativity, and brilliance of the human experience through a Black and neurodivergent (BAND) lens.
Using a range of services, FCC helps individuals, communities, and organizations thrive.
We currently offer:

Wesley Jackson Wade, MA, LCMHC
Wesley Wade is the founder of FCC, and identifies as a Black, neurodivergent, man. He has been featured on NPR, PBS, and CBS News in relation to his work in mental health, career development, higher education, and the neurodiversity movement.
As a counselor, Wes centers the client-counselor relationship to help clients feel at ease and comfortable. He validates, encourages, and challenges while empowering clients to love their whole-self with confidence.
As a consultant and educator, Wes is a knowledgeable, creatively insightful, dynamic storyteller who tailors each course, workshop, and event to exceed expectations. As an advocate, Wes engages with the BAND on social media. BAND is a Black-centered multicultural community he coined and developed in 2024 on TikTok under the handle @Supreme.Neck.Protector. (Wes is also a big Wu-Tang, Method Man, and ’90s Hip-hop fan!)
